YWAM stands for Youth With A Mission. They are an international, interdenominational group of volunteers who are committed to knowing God, and making Him known to the world. YWAM has close to 1000 locations in over 150 countries, and nearly 20,000 staff members worldwide. YWAM celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2010.

We are serving at YWAM Montana, in Lakeside, MT. This ministry was birthed in 1985 on an old Air Force base, ironically enough, whose purpose was also for training. The main vision here is to train and equip students as missionaries and send them out to all parts of the world. Another central purpose of this ministry is to disciple those who come here, and develop their gifts to be used for God's kingdom. We have about 160 full-time volunteer staff from a number of different nations. YWAM Montana is celebrating its 28th anniversary this year!
