About Us

Jason has been in YWAM from birth.  Not really, but he was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands when his parents were serving as missionaries with YWAM there.  He grew up in a few different places and eventually called South Carolina home.  His life was radically changed when he did a Discipleship Training School in 2007 at YWAM Montana.  God captured Jason's heart and called him to continue to help others find Him at that time.  He has been a missionary with YWAM Montana and leading teams of people in missions since then, going to Thailand, Malaysia, Ukraine, South Africa, and Zambia for outreaches.  He is passionate about helping people to walk in freedom and find the true life that God intended for them, and enjoys snowboarding, hiking/camping in the gorgeous Montana mountains, soccer, and cooking.

Erika was born and raised in Houston, TX and even went to college there.  She pursued music from middle school onward and got her Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from Houston Baptist University in 2007.  She worked for an opera singer and traveled the world with her as a nanny for her son for a couple years after college.  Erika's interest in missions began from an early age when hearing stories from her Uncle Mark, who was a missionary in the Middle East and Russia.  After doing a DTS at YWAM Montana in 2008, her life was also eternally impacted by the healing and life she received there from God.  Jason and she also met there.  :)  Erika has been on missions outreaches to India, Bangladesh, and Mexico, and she looks forward to many more as she has recently become a full-time missionary at YWAM Montana.  She enjoys reading, a good conversation, tea, and playing volleyball.

Since being married in February 2010, Erika and Jason worked as waiters for six months to raise money for their School of Biblical Studies at YWAM Montana, which was in process from Sept. 2010-June 2011.  This nine-month course gave them a great foundation in God's Word, as well as strengthening their relationship with him and their marriage.  They are now committed to YWAM Montana as DTS staff for 2 years or more, and look forward to seeing lives changed and God's hope brought to many nations.  They are so excited that they have been given the opportunity and the calling by God to share his love and light with young people and then lead them in doing so with people all over the world.
